Throughout her life, Meghan Freas loved to learn about languages. In high school, she studied German, Latin, Arabic and Spanish and enrolled in the Harrisburg Area Community College during her senior year to take two additional semesters of Arabic.

She also understood bits of French, Russian and Turkish and recited a multitude of foreign phrases to her friends whenever they got together.

When I first started out as the sex columnist, it threw me into local celebrity status. I found it amazing how suddenly TKE guys were trying to make appointments to have sex with me so that they could get an "exclusive." Then again, that just shows how little the boys of TKE actually know (Sorry, I had to take one last dig at you guys, at least most of you have been good sports about it).

"Let's go Pitt," then, "F--- the cops," the mob chanted, caught on a YouTube video. Pitt students and their friends ran in front of the camera, danced around two blazing fires in the middle of the street and screamed in the background.

The crowd overflowed porches and balconies, spread across the front yards and congested traffic on Semple Street in the early afternoon April 18.

What could be more despicable than having two dogs fight for entertainment? People who torture animals for fun are among the most detested of human beings and rightly so. Of course human beings should be our prime concern and of the most importance, but that doesn't mean we don't also care about other sentient beings too, even if their nervous system isn't quite as complicated as our own.
