Long time Anacostia resident Daa'iyah Pasha applied for a grant from The Historic Homeowners Grant program earlier this year after hearing about the program through her neighborhood civic association.
Pasha, like others in her neighborhood, submitted the two- part grant application in hopes of getting much needed funding for maintenance on her home; a home she had grown up in and inherited, and that had now fallen into disrepair.

Michigan Democrats may be one step closer to deciding how the state's delegates should be seated at the Democratic National Convention in August. A plan drafted by four members of the Michigan Democratic Party would award 69 convention delegates to Sen. Hillary Clinton and 59 to Sen.
